As a landlord, you want to rent your property at market price, avoid empty periods and guarantee a regular income. We offer all landlords committed rent for a period of your choice - it can be 1, 2 or 3 years! This give you the luxury to relax for as long as you wish with no need to re-market the property and pay the agent fees every time the property becomes vacant. And most importantly, you won't lose on income for those couple of months the property remains vacant between tenants moving out-moving in.

Repairs and maintenance

Here at Short Lets, we care to keep your home in good shape, as much you do! If you don’t want to be bothered with the day-to-day management of the property, we’ll sort all that out too. We have our own maintenance team and we take away your day-to-day hassle of managing the property (we'll take those late night or weekend phone calls when the boiler breaks!).

Our team is available on hand to help in an emergency, such as the boiler breaking down, broken windows, broken furniture but also to help keeping your property in good shape such as silicon replacement in the shower, grouting of bathroom tiles etc. Dealing with maintenance issues regularly means we have the expertise to find ‘quick fixes’ when necessary, such as providing temporary electric heaters or boarding up a window to make it safe.

Ensuring property safety

You have a legal responsibility to let a home that tenants can live in safely. You must approve the electrics and gas appliances and provide a gas safety certificate annually. Again, we can organize this for you!


We can refer you to a specialist insurance company who provide buildings insurance policies for landlords.If you choose your own insurance provider we will require a copy of the insurance policy and contact details.

On top of the regular buildings insurance, we cover your apartment for public liability insurance in the event one of our guests has an accident in your apartment. We cover the public liability insurance free of charge for you!

Furnishing, beginning of our tenancy and inventories

We're flexible in taking on furnished or unfurnished apartments, with electrical supplies or not. If you don't want the hassle to furnish the property, we will arrange it for you, ensuring that all furniture is compliant with fire & furnishing regulations

If your property is furnished and includes electronic equipment we'll do a full inventory before we take it on to ensure your property is well maintained.

Lastly, as soon as we occupy a new property we take meter readings and submit them to the relevant supplier and notify all service providers of the new 'tenant' liable for payments.
